Laurence Banville, Esq.

Laurence Banville is an attorney and entrepreneur who has been on the seller’s side of the table himself — more than once. As a co-founder of Legacy Launch Brokers, he leads the legal side of the practice, bringing the discipline of a practicing attorney together with the hard-won perspective of an owner who has built and sold real companies.

Over his career Laurence has built and exited multiple businesses — including AG Conexus, the marketing agency he co-founded with Paul Amess and sold, and an HVAC company he grew and sold to private capital. That operating experience means he knows exactly what an owner feels walking into a sale: the fear of a leak, the tax questions, the worry that a professional buyer will outmaneuver you. He has lived every part of it.

A New York- and Washington, D.C.-licensed attorney, Laurence trained at University College Dublin, earning a joint law-and-business degree summa cum laude with an Erasmus year at UC Louvain studying in French. On a Legacy Launch deal team he owns the legal architecture of the transaction — purchase agreements, representations and warranties, and the diligence defense that keeps a deal from collapsing at the last mile.

Recognized on the Irish Legal 100 and named to Top 40 Under 40, Laurence co-founded Legacy Launch Brokers with Paul Amess, in partnership with Benjamin Ross Group, to give Mid-Atlantic owners the kind of sale process he would want for his own companies — quiet, tax-aware, and engineered to protect what they have built.
